Mia Hollingworth and Melinda J Wells are the concept creators and primary story collectors and writers of each short story and creative artefact.

Performance Artist + Producer
Mia Hollingworth
has been choreographing, producing and performing in intimate shows in the family home since the age of four. Mia has a long history as a dancer and dance-maker and has collaborated with dance + theatre companies in both live and film work, curated for various spaces and festivals here and abroad.
After some revaluation of how, why and for who one engages in an arts practice, Mia is now primarily interested in exploring opportunities that enable a more authentic mode of expression and connection to the public.
Melinda J Wells
began performing at three, singing and acting her way through to a career in television, as a children’s touring act featuring her own style of children’s music then on to building a reputation for bringing community arts projects and professional mentors programs for songwriters. As a songwriter, producer, venue, stage and event manager, choir leader, music teacher, musician and entertainer, Melinda has a wealth of experience across a wide demographic of arts practice.
Melinda has produced, facilitated and received funding to host dozens of regional arts projects around Queensland, engaging community and professional artists in creative practice and performance. She has coordinated large and small festivals, venues, events and stages.
After completing an Honours Degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Melinda enrolled in the PhD program to research the gendered and geographical barriers facing female and gender diverse songwriters in building equitable and sustainable careers.
