Melinda J Wells and Mia Hollingworth are Sunshine Coast Creatives whose desire to collect, document and perform the stories and life experiences of elder members of our community has been brewing in their minds for two years.
Finally, after brainstorming the concept of how to collect a series of random stories from older Sunshine Coast residents and then present them as creative performances has come to life. In it’s very early stages, this project hopes to share a bunch of short stories on this website for all to share, with a view to create a series of performances across a wide range of creative practices.
Melinda and Mia both recognise the value of shared stories, the wisdom of age and the precious details that have created untold stories that must be shared, experienced and ultimately performed on a larger scale to a bigger audience.
